Als unvergleichliches Naturerlebis zeigt sich die Schlucht entlang des Kaningbaches. Der romantische Erholungsbereich erstreckt sich vom Hauptgebäude über eine Holzbrücke, einem Rastplatz mit Trinkwasserbrunnen und einer Hängebrücke bis zum Aussichtspunkt "Blauer Tumpf" mit seinem Zwillingswasserfall.
Ab hier können Geübte mit Führer, oder selbst
auf eigene Gefahr, mittels abwechslungsreichem Seilsteig die wildromantische Schlucht bis zur großen Staumauer erkunden
(Länge ca. 1.000 m).
(Achtung: Die Tour ist anspruchsvoll und nur für trittsichere Wanderer geeignet!).
