The Rete di Riserve Bondone includes a large area around the city of Trento and the Valle dell'Adige, for a total of over 1,100 hectares of protected areas.
Water, sun, altitude, soil and climate create the variegated environmental mosaic of Bondone.
The wetlands are composed of torrents that descend brightly from the mountains, from blue lakes, pools and small ponds with delicate ecological balances. Water creates biodiversity havens with many forms of life including: numerous species of waterfowl and migratory birds, amphibians and reptiles; dragonflies and species of butterflies are at risk of extinction. It is also possible to admire the beauty of some floral species.
The vast territory with a complex morphology allows you to follow a variety of woods and plant associations including mixed and broad-leaved, sparse and coniferous, mugo. Each with its colors, its smells and its inhabitants, depending on the season.
The large grassy expanses represent an ideal observation point on the alpine nature and its peculiarities.
