Prírodná rezervácia Kašivárová na ochranu miestneho pralesa bola založená už v roku 1926.

50-hektárovému lesu kraľujú spanilé, vyše 400 rokov staré duby. Vraj najkrajší les v Európe v každom ročnom období. Nájdete ho nad časťou Kyslá, prebieha cez ňu lesnícky chodník, k okraju lokality vedie lesná cesta dostupná z Hodruše.
