Mont Saint Rigaud

Mont Saint Rigaud, nicknamed the "Roof of the Rhône", is the highest summit in the department (1012 m). An educational trail allows you to take a fun and instructive walk with your family to discover the richness of the natural heritage of this massif.
The observation tower built at the summit has a remarkable orientation table. From the top of its 15.80m, it offers a striking 360° panorama, from the Alps to the Massif Central. On the way up, you can quench your thirst at the sacred spring of Saint-Rigaud, which is said to have miraculous virtues! It is said that its water would improve the fertility of women.

You will come across many hikers and runners who walk the marked trails of the massif. All the routes are available at the Maison de la Randonnée et du Trail, a site located at the Col de Crie, in the commune of Deux-Grosnes, offering information on the various hiking, trail, mountain bike and cycling routes available to you.
