Neben der Pension Lucas stehen alte Holzhütten, die bis in die Mitte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts als Unterstände für Ziegen genutzt wurden Die Ziegenherden wurden unmittelbar nach der Schneeschmelze über die Maisäß- und Alpflächen getrieben. Jeden Abend brachten die Hirten, sogenannte Geißler, die Tiere zurück in die Geißbargen.
