Das Edelfrauengrab ist ein Wasserfall mit einer kleinen Höhle im Gottschlägtal bei Ottenhöfen. Der Name entstammt einer Sage, nach der eine Edelfrau ihrem auf Kreuzzug befindlichen Ehemann untreu wurde und Siebenlinge – allesamt klein, blass und unansehnlich – gebar. In ihrer Not befahl sie ihrer Magd, die Kinder zu ertränken. Auf dem Weg zur Tat begegnete die Magd jedoch dem Ritter, der die Kinder in die Obhut befreundeter Burgfräulein gab, wo die Kinder erzogen wurden. Als die Kinder sieben Jahre alt waren, ließ der Ritter sie ihre Geschichte auf einem großen Fest auf seiner Burg vortragen. Auf die Frage, welche Strafe wohl einer solchen Mutter gebühre, soll die Edelfrau „einmauern bei Wasser und Brot” gefordert haben. Sodann vollzog der Ritter die von seiner Frau gegen sich selbst geforderte Strafe an ihr. Nach einiger Zeit soll er den Gottschlägbach in das Gefängnis seiner Frau umgeleitet haben, um sie von ihren Qualen zu erlösen.
