Former estate of a Polish exile king, later a pleasure garden and pheasantry, today a unique baroque garden monument with the Romantic Hotel Landschloss Fasanerie. Admission free.
In the local recreation area Fasanerie, ruins testify to the former estate "Tschifflick". It was built around 1714 by the Polish exile king Stanislaus Leszczynski as a summer residence. Today, there is a unique baroque garden monument, the Romantic Hotel Landschloss Fasanerie, and the wild rose garden. In a wild-romantic setting, the ancestors of modern rose cultivars grow here. In this living rose museum, "old" varieties and cultivars that have long since disappeared from the market tell the history of rose cultivation. Stories from long-gone times are recounted by the ducal lady-in-waiting during a guided walk under the motto "The Cherries of Tschifflick".
