Karlova Ves in Bratislava was one of the first inhabited areas of Slovakia. Archaeological finds confirm that people were already living here in the Palaeolithic period. Karlova Ves is a popular starting point for canoeing down Karloveské rameno. We recommend a visit to the Waterworks Museum and taking a rest in its beautiful garden.
