Stone Museum - Large private collection of minerals and prehistoric relics.
In his small museum in an old stable building, Georg Kattler displays a cross-section of his stone collection, which he has gathered over approximately 30 years. In several showcases and shelves, visitors can admire minerals and fossils, such as a sand rose from the Sahara, a mammoth molar, fossilized roof salamanders, shells, snails, leaves, pine cones, and woods as well as various glittering geodes (Note: rock cavities filled with crystals), agates, and lava rock. The collection is rounded off by some finds from the Stone Age and Roman times, as well as parts of the Battenberg lightning tubes.
