The small museum at the foot of the Falkenstein Castle ruins houses a detailed model of King Ludwig's last dream: a castle even more magnificent than Neuschwanstein.

Next to the Burghotel Falkenstein, there is a small museum that provides information about King Ludwig's original construction plans for Falkenstein. He intended to realize his last dream castle there but never completed this dream. Due to its stunning location above the Mariengrotte on Falkenstein, visitors can enjoy unparalleled views through the museum's large panoramic windows.
