.The Civic Museum of Cuneo is located in the monumental complex of San Francesco, comprising the ancient convent and the adjoining church, a national monument and a rare architectural testimony of the medieval era in the city. From the 12th century onwards, the Franciscan friars settled here. The museum exhibits protohistoric, Roman and early medieval artefacts, a collection of local sacred art and 19th and 20th century Piacute painting, in a rich ethnographic display.
The museum is located in the centre of the town, in the heart of the city.
