The museum's spectrum ranges from the medieval founding of Immenstadt to the computer age. It picks out anecdotes, highlights the centuries and does not overload visitors. Above all, the "Immenstadt in the Industrial Age" section encourages visitors to get involved.
With over 1,000 square meters of exhibition space, the Hofmühle is a zone for explorers of all ages. The museum is not simply a modern building in which exhibits are stored, but an aged and eloquent lady who was once one of the most efficient mills in the Swabian region. And thus a part of industrial history herself!
