Die Schlacht bei Jena und Auerstedt – ein historisches Ereignis von europäischer Dimension Der 14. Oktober 1806 – dieses Datum hat sich eindrücklich in der Geschichte Jenas manifestiert. An diesem Tag fand die berühmte Schlacht bei Jena zwischen der von Napoleon I. geführten französischen Armee und der preußischen Armee statt, die für den Franzosen siegreich endete. Und genau an jenem Ort der Schlacht können Sie das Museum 1806 besuchen. Die Vorgeschichte und der Verlauf der Schlacht bei Jena und Auerstedt werden im Museum bzw. bei Rundfahrten über die Schlachtfelder ausführlich erläutert. Im Museum 1806 findet man zeitgeschichtliche Exponate, Berichte von Zeitzeugen, Uniformen und Waffen dieser Zeit sowie umfangreiches Karten- und Bildmaterial.
