Come and visit or re-visit the Musée Pincé which is open again after a 15-year closure.
The museum is an invitation to far-away lands, thanks to a number of fascinating collections donated to the museum.
On the ground floor, an exhibition with an annually changing theme highlights the diverse and rich variety of the collections housed across all of Angers' museums.
The first floor is devoted to five civilisations: Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, the Egyptians, Pre-Colombian art, and Chinese and Japanese art.

Highlights include:
- The architecture of the beautiful Hôtel Pincé, a remarkable Renaissance building.
- The rich collection of prints presented on a rotating basis in the Graphic Arts cabinet.

Opening times

From 01/09 to 16/10/2026 weekends between 10 am and 6 pm.

From 17/10 to 01/11/2026 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 6 pm.

From 03/11 to 18/12/2026 weekends between 10 am and 6 pm.
Closed exceptionally on November 11th.

From 19/12/2026 to 03/01/2027 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 6 pm.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st and December 25th.
