Der Mühlenturm ist ein ehemaliger Turm der Stadtmauer, der zugleich als städtische Mühle diente. Stark verfallen wurde er 1927 durchgreifend restauriert und in seiner äußeren Gestalt verändert.
Heute gilt er als Wahrzeichen und beherbergt eine kleine Ausstellung zur Kranenburger Stadtgeschichte. Gegen eine geringe Eintrittsgebühr tauchen Sie ab in die Eiszeit, das Mittelalter und die Moderne. Genießen Sie ebenfalls den einizgartigen Ausblick aus der obersten Etage.
Auf Wunsch dient der Turm auch als Standesamt. Wollen Sie sich in einer besonderen Atmosphäre das Ja-Wort geben? Dann ist der Mühlenturm sicherlich eine gute Wahl!

Public transport
Reisen Sie mit der Bahn an, so endet die NordWestBahn ca. 10 km entfernt in der Kreisstadt Kleve. Direkt am Bahnhof befindet sich der Busbahnhof. Mit der Linie SB 58 sowie der Linie 55 gelangen Sie nach Kranenburg.

Die Gemeinde Kranenburg liegt am unteren Niederrhein im Nordwesten von Nordrhein-Westfalen unmittelbar an der Grenze zu den Niederlanden.
Zur Anreise mit dem Auto folgen Sie der A57 bis zur Abfahrt Nummer 2 (Goch / Kleve). Unmittelbar nach der Ausfahrt biegen Sie rechts auf die B9 und dann die erste Möglichkeit links Richtung Kranenburg ab. Nach ca. 200 Metern biegen Sie rechts auf die B504 Richtung Kranenburg ab. Folgen Sie der Straße in etwa 15 Kilometer und biegen dann links in die Gemeinde Kranenburg ab.
Bei einer Anreise aus den Niederladen folgen Sie der N325 die auf deutscher Seite zur B9 wird. Folgen Sie der B9 für ca. 1 km und biegen sie dann rechts auf die K44 (Ortseinfahrt Wyler) ab. Wenn Sie der K44 weiter folgen erreichen Sie nach 5 km die Gemeinde Kranenburg.
