La salle d’exposition permet d’accueillir les visiteurs, mais même en dehors des horaires d’ouverture, un ensemble de panneaux extérieurs reste accessible. Ces panneaux présentent l’origine du mouvement vaudois, son expansion en Europe (Allemagne, Italie…), mais aussi en Afrique du Sud et en Amérique, ainsi que les traces qu’il a laissées dans le Luberon et les Monts de Vaucluse.
Le valdéisme, la persécution religieuse et le massacre de 1545 font l’objet d’une exposition permanente.
L’accès au Mémorial Vaudois - situé sur les ruines de l’ancien village - est balisé, et plusieurs panneaux jalonnent la montée jusqu’à la table d’orientation, au sommet des vestiges du château fort.
Enfin, La Muse rassemble les publications éditées par l’AEVHL, notamment sa revue La Valmasque, ainsi qu’un important fonds documentaire consacré à l’histoire des Vaudois.
