In the heart of the historic center of Blankenheim, not far from the Ahr spring, you can immerse yourself in the natural and cultural history of the Northern Eifel at the Eifel Museum. At the same time, the Tourist Information is located here, making it your perfect starting point for discoveries around the town.
The museum vividly conveys the history of the Earth and nature of the northwestern Eifel. The exhibition is complemented by changing presentations and works by regional artists. Directly attached is the historic Guild House. Here, you can experience Blankenheim's history from its beginnings to the present day, including the exhibition "Castle and Lordship." Works by the Eifel painter Fritz von Wille can also be seen here.
In the information center for the Roman Agrippastraße, life in Roman times becomes tangible – with exciting insights into the nearby Roman villa. This Roman legacy is located just about 800 meters away, which you can ideally reach with a walk.
Admission to the Eifel Museum and the Guild House is free on all opening days.
