In het museum krijg je informatie over de geschiedenis van de Biesbosch. Dit museum is absoluut ook voor kinderen een geweldig museum. 
In het museum krijg je informatie over de geschiedenis en het ontstaan van de Biesbosch. Buiten is een Biesbosch op schaal gemaakt zodat je met je eigen ogen kan zien hoe de getijdes in de Biesbosch werken. In het buitenmuseum kan je beleven hoe het als griendwerker was. De Biesbosch was een gebied waar griend, riet en biezen geoogst werden. Naast het museum bezoeken kun je hier ook een fluistertocht of een thematocht maken of zelfs een eigen boot huren.

Helaas is dit museum niet gemakkelijk met het openbaar vervoer te bereiken. Je kunt vanaf het station in Dordrecht een fiets huren en nog 10 kilometer fietsen naar het museum.
