Bergmannsbauernmuseum, Breitenbach
The Bergmannsbauern Museum, operated by the Verbandsgemeinde Oberes Glantal, is managed by the Christian Scouts - Troop Albert Schweitzer - and impressively depicts the life and work of the mining farmers. The history is documented impressively, allowing visitors to explore a reconstructed mine tunnel, for example. Equally important is life in the village, whether it be the typical living conditions or the everyday items used by the mining farmers. All of this and much more can be found in the museum in Breitenbach, providing insight into life during this time.
