The Beethoven Pasqualatihaus in Vienna was the composer’s residence from 1804–08 and 1810–14, where he created major works including Fidelio and the Fifth and Sixth Symphonies.

Situated on the Mölker Bastei in the Inner City, the Pasqualatihaus is a historic 18th‑century building perched on the former city fortifications. Beethoven lived here intermittently between 1804 and 1814, composing some of his most celebrated works. Today, a small Wien Museum exhibition occupies rooms connected to him, displaying manuscripts, portraits, instruments, and personal items that provide insight into his life, creative process, and time in Vienna. The house is part of Vienna’s cultural heritage trail and is often visited alongside the nearby Mölker Bastei and Liebenberg-Denkmal
