National Museum of Florence in the Palazzo del Bargello
Opened in 1865, the museum houses important sculptures by Michelangelo, Donatello, Cellini and others, as well as various ancient objects.
The Bargello National Museum is part of the Bargello Museum complex, together with the Medici Chapels, the Orsanmichele complex, the Palazzo Davanzati and the Casa Martelli.
Opening times
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month: 08:15 - 13:50
Saturdays: 08:15 - 18:50
Closed on Tuesdays, the second and fourth Sundays of the month and 25 December
Public transport
By train: get off at Santa Maria Novella station, then walk about 15 minutes
By bus: the nearest stop is the Galleria Degli Uffizi on the C1 line. Alternatively, you can opt for buses A, 14 and 23.
