Since the 1970s, the house has been restored and integrated into the Batak Historical Museum as an ethnographic branch. Its exhibitions present traditional domestic interiors, tools, clothing, and everyday objects that illustrate the lifestyle of Batak residents in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The courtyard and ground floor also display materials related to forestry and wood processing, which were key economic activities in the region. The site helps preserve and interpret the cultural heritage of Batak within its broader historical narrative.
