Ende des 17. Jhd. wird eine "obere Stube“ mit Feuerrecht erbaut, damit der Hausbesitzer oben und „ein Bader unten wohnen könne“. 1682 wird festgelegt, dass das Badhaus weiterhin als Badhaus genutzt werden soll. 1844 endet die Grundherrschaft der Kirche am Badhaus, 1867 ist der Konkurs des Badanwesens wegen zu hoher Schuldenlast vermerkt. Das Badergewerbe mit den Dienstleistungen Haareschneiden, Rasieren, Zähneziehen und der Leichenschau ging auf den Bader im Haus Nr. 22 über.
1874 wird die Konzession zum Betrieb einer Bierwirtschaft erteilt. Nach aufwändiger Renovierung des Anwesens und der Freilegung des Untergeschosses konnte am 16. Juli 2011 die Einweihung des Badhausmuseums gefeiert werden. Öffnungszeiten: täglich von 9 bis 18 Uhr Eintritt: 2 € pro Person
