Der Staller Sattel, 2052 m, verbindet das Südtiroler Antholzer Tal mit dem Osttiroler Defereggental. Er liegt direkt an der Grenze zwischen Österreich und Italien. Aufgrund der geringen Breite der Straße darf diese auf der Westseite (italienische Seite) nur einspurig befahren werden: von der 1.-15. Minute jeder Stunde vom Staller Sattel in Richtung Antholz und von der 30.-45. Minute jeder Stunde von Antholz in Richtung Österreich.
