Der Col des Vignettes liegt auf etwa 3100 m unterhalb des Pigne d'Arolla. Über ihn erreicht man die Cab. des Vignettes.

Ebenso kann man über den Col des Vignettes über den Glacier de Piece bis Arolla abfahren. Somit stellt er eine Art "Notausgang" der Haute Route dar.
