Postavená v roku 1933 pre potreby prvého ženského spolku v medzivojnovom období na Slovensku.

Typicky funkcionalistický jednoposchodový objekt s takmer štyridsiatimi miestnosťami slúžiacimi mnohovrstevnej sociálne, osvetovo a na vzdelávanie žien orientovanej činnosti spolku, je dnes stále sídlom modernej pokračovateľky tradície, viacerých aktívnych dielní a predajní. Ale aj miestom pre knižnú kultúru, keďže v budove sídli knižný Antikvariát Medokýš, miesto cyklicky opakovaných stretnutí aj súčasných literátov a či interpretačných umelcov s čitateľmi, divákmi a poslucháčmi.
