Of the shaft itself, the shaft superstructure partly newly added and equipped with a pent roof, as well as the shaft masonry with bridging arches typical of Schneeberg mining, have been preserved. Beneath the pithead in the shaft building in the short eastern floor level of the shaft are two granite blocks with extensive inscriptions dating back to the beginning of the 18th century. Except for a few metres, the shaft is not backfilled, thus enabling the shaft masonry to be identified.
