Das Haus wurde 1581 erbaut.
1720 von Caspar Bernhard Hoffmann umgebaut. Er war es wohl auch – wie es in der Gegend im 18. Jahrhundert üblich war – der den Erker anbringen liess. In den Brüstungsfeldern finden sich unten zwei Szenen aus dem alten und oben eine Szene aus dem neuen Testament. Die beiden Löwen, die bis zum Umbau 1909 den Erker stützten, sind heute im Museum im Kornhaus ausgestellt.
