Freedom monument cosists of 13 sculptural groups and has 56 sculptures in total, representing different aspects of depict Latvian history and culture.

The 42,7 meter monument was build in 1935. Monument cosists of 13 sculptural groups and has 56 sculptures in total, representing different aspects of depict Latvian history and culture. On the top you can see a woman holding three stars above her head. It is a symbol of Riga and it symbolises freedom and indepencence for the whole Latvia, represending soliders killed during Latvian War of Independence.
