Das Flößerdenkmal wurde am 27. Mai 1984 vom Verschönerungsverein errichtet. 1. Entwurf 1967 von Hannes Haslecker, 2. Entwurf 1981 von Prof. Max. Stockenhuber.

Sehenswerte Ausstellungsstücke der Flößerei, welche früher einen bedeutenden wirtschaftlichen Faktor in der Region Attersee darstellte sind im Heimathaus in der Gmundnerstraße ausgestellt.

Die Besichtigung des Heimathauses ist nach telefonischer Voranmeldung +43 (0) 7662 2259 möglich.
