The Vlacherna Monastery, also known as Panagia Vlacherna, is a small Byzantine church on a tiny island in the lagoon area south of the main island of Corfu in Greece. The church is an important place for the Orthodox community on Corfu.
A wooden bridge connects the island with the mainland and offers a magnificent view of the church and the lagoon. Near the monastery is a small beach frequented by tourists.
