In Gütenbach in the Hintertal valley, at the entrance to the Hübschental valley, lies the Bühlhof mill, commonly known as the sawmill.
This name, which is somewhat misleading for a grinding mill, is derived from a knocking saw that was probably built on this site as early as 1680. The sawmill was first mentioned in a document in 1855.
