Die historische Wassermühle, unmittelbar am Kurpark gelegen, wurde 1434 erstmalig urkundlich erwähnt. Ihr Wasserrad hat einst nicht nur den Mahlgang, sondern auch eine Ölmühle, Walkmühle und den Schneidegang angetrieben. Über 500 Jahre konnte die einstige "obyrmol" ihre Müller ernähren, bis sie Ende der 1940er Jahre stillgelegt wurde. Heute nutzt und betreibt der der Verein Museumsdorf Dübener Heide den grünen Mühlenhof. Das bäuerlich anmutende Gelände mit Garten, Feldscheune und alter landwirtschaftlicher Technik lässt das einstige Leben inmitten von Fachwerkbauten wieder erwachen. Ein Backofen nach historischem Vorbild liefert köstliches Brot, das man unbedingt probieren sollte.
