Todays Knittelsheimer Mühle is a hotel in the forest close to Knittelsheim.
It was built as a mill for grain in the beginning of the 18th century. The Spiegelbach a small brook was driving the millstone. In early time the using as mill for grain changed into a nail production. In the 1940 the history of the mill endet. In 1977 the demaged building was bought and became a hotel with nice a garden-restaurtant. You still can see the part where the ancient water stone was situated.
