The Kandel pyramid is a small viewing platform on the 1,241 metre high Kandel.
From there, you have a wonderful view of the Elz Valley and the Breisgau Bay. In good weather, you can see the Feldberg and, with a bit of luck, the Vosges mountains and the Alps.

Directions
Mit dem PKW:
Von Freiburg kommend fährt man durch Waldkirch. Von dort führt die kurvenreiche L186, ein Teil der Schwarzwaldpanoramastraße, auf den Kandel. Öffentlicher Kandelparkplatz direkt auf dem Berggipfel.
Mit dem ÖPNV:
Die umweltfreundliche Anreise mit dem Bus auf den Berggipfel ist möglich. Ab Freiburg oder Offenburg mit dem Regionalzug nach Denzlingen. Ab dem Bahnhof Denzlingen geht es mit der Buslinie 7205 auf den Kandel. Bitte vorzeitig über die täglichen Abfahrtszeiten informieren.
