In 984 m ü. NN. steht der vom Schwarzwaldverein errichtete Hohlohturm. Bei seiner Einweihung 1897 erhielt der Aussichtsturm den Namen Kaiser-Wilhelm-Turm, da Wilhelm II. fast jährlich zur Auerhahnjagd auf den Hohloh kam. Wegen des höher gewachsenen Waldes mußte er bereits 1968 um 6,4 m auf die heutige Turmhöhe von 28,6 m erhöht werden.

Seine Aussichtsplattform auf 1012 m Höhe bietet eine Rundumsicht über den Nordschwarzwald hinaus: von den Vogesen über den Pfälzerwald und Odenwald bis zur Schwäbischen Alb, bei Föhn bis zu den Schweizer Alpen. In den 1990er Jahren schufen die Orkane Vivian, Wiebke und Lothar freie Sicht über den Hohlohipfel.

Am Fuße des Turmes steht die vom Schwarzwaldverein Gernsbach errichtete Schutzhütte für die Wanderer und Radfahrer.
