40 metre high observation tower in the Bexbach flower garden with the Saarland Mining Museum inside the tower.

You can take the lift to the viewing floor of the Hindenburg Tower at a height of 40 metres and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. On fine days, you can see as far as the Rhine plain and the Vosges mountains.

The history of Saarland, especially the history of Bexbach, is closely linked to mining. The Saarland Mining Museum is located in the Hindenburg Tower. Its extensive underground show mine impressively and authentically displays Saarland mining through the ages. Old and new mining techniques can be marvelled at here. The underground world is clearly explained by expert guides.
