In dem 1733 in spätbarocker Manier angelegten Ort blieben neben klassizistischen Fassaden in der Stadt der schöne Schlossgarten mit Orangerie und Tempelchen und die Schlosskirche erhalten. Mit Stadtkirche und Rathaus bildet der zentrale Marktplatz ein hübsches Ensemble.
