Le Phare de La Coubre est situé à La Tremblade, à l'extrémité nord de l'Estuaire de la Gironde. C'est le plus haut phare de Charente-Maritime qui compte 300 marches et culmine à 64 m. Carrelé d'opaline, escalier Eiffel et dominant la Côte Sauvage.

After climbing 300 steps in a blue Opal interior, a 360° panorama offers breathtaking views of La Tremblade “Côte Sauvage” and its wonderful beaches, the Coubre forest, the Gironde estuary, and Oléron. The visit continues in the lighthouse base with a museum relating this “light giant’s” history and the different equipment required to function. On site: an exhibition room and a shop. In July and August, a food truck is available for refreshments and throughout summer every tuesday and thursday during sunset, a commented climb of the lighthouse is offered.

From 31/08 to 29/09/2026 daily between 10 am and 1 pm and between 1.30 pm and 6 pm.

From 30/09 to 10/11/2026 daily between 10 am and 1 pm and between 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
