Public Library "A. Morvidi"

The first library was founded in 1965 with books of local history and was settled in the town hall palace.
In 1970 the library had more than 500 books and a rich series of journals and was moved to Matteotti Square. But this place was too small for the collection and was moved in 1977.
The bulding was Antonio Morvidi’s home, an important, respected teacher from Manciano. When Antonio Morvidi died, his son Leto Morvidi donated the building to the city hall, for housing the library.
Leto Morvidi also donated and bought for the library a lot of books and publications.
The library today has about 4.000 volumes,especially of history and literature all availableforthe public.There is an important section of local history, but also cd rom, vynils, photographes and books on line”.

The library has a young and fresh new look and is today a meeting point for students and tourists,that here can read or use the free wi fi .
