Small bees, big impact: At the Seeg adventure apiary, you can get to know the fascinating world of honey bees - with a show apiary, interactive stations and sweet tastings.
How do bees live? How is honey actually made? And why are the little buzzers so important for our ecosystem? The Seeg adventure apiary has the answers - in a way that is suitable for children, clear and with a lot of heart.
The Seeg honey bees Seebiene and Seebastian take you on an exciting journey of discovery through the everyday life of bees on around 220 m²: from flying and pollinating flowers to honey production.
In the adjacent show apiary, you can watch real bee colonies at work - from a safe distance, but up close. The work of the beekeeper is also explained: What tools does he need? How do they extract honey, wax etc.?
To round off the tour, we visit the bee store: Here you can sample various bee products and, of course, take them home with you.
