On the western shore of Lake Änättijärvi, Sääskenniemi fireplace is a good base for fishermen and other water users.

Lake Änättijärvi and Lake Lentiira have trolling waters for trout, lake trout and pike, as well as net fishing waters for vendace and other fish. Lake Änättijärvi has a good boat launching site, signposts and a fireplace.

Next to the cottage there is also an outdoor fireplace, a dry toilet and a shed for firewood.
