The Suvanto lean-to is located in the centre of Kuhmo on the northern bank of Pajakkakoski rapids. It is easy to get there on foot, by bike or by canoe.
The 1 km long Rapid's Trail (demanding accessible) brings you to the Suvanto fireplace at Pajakkakoski. It is easy to get there with the whole family.
It is also a good resting place and excursion destination for fishermen and paddlers.
