The water information path, which is part of the project of renaturation of the Kropsbach, is intended to make it easier for children in particular to experience the stream and to sensitize them to the quality and importance of the element "water".
The water information trail, which is part of the project for the renaturation of the Kropsbach, aims to make the stream more accessible, especially for children, and to raise awareness about the quality and importance of the vital element "water." Along the route between the highway and the playground, there are a total of 9 panels on topics such as renaturation, the water cycle, water quality, habitats of flowing waters, as well as floodplain plants and floodplain birds. The panels integrate beautifully into the landscape due to their design. Additionally, a water playground has been opened at the Kropsbach between Joseph-Matt-Straße and the Schloßweiher. The water information trail was created as part of the action Blue Plus and in collaboration with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Institute for Hydromechanics.
