Biergarten, Stauseegaststätte, Gondelfahrt und Abenteuerspielplatz - der Stausee in Sohland/Spree ist ein Naherholungszentrum für Jung und Alt.
Das gesamte Umfeld wurde neu gestaltet und zieht jährlich tausende Gäste an. Wandern, Nordic Walking, Radfahren auf dem Spreeradwanderweg, Gondelfahrten, auf eigene Gefahr Schwimmen oder Schlittschulaufen sind möglich.
Kinder finden ein von einheimischen Holzkünstlern geschaffenen Abenteuerspielplatz.
Der Biergarten, das Brauhaus und die Schenue am See sowie die Stauseegaststätte laden zum Verweilen ein.
Für alle Radfahrer bzw. E-Bike Fahrer wurde am Stausee eine Ladestelle eingerichtet mit 3 Fächern.
