Die Badestelle liegt am Ortsrand von Rangendingen und bietet neben einer Liegewiese, Kaltwasserdusche und WC auch ein Beachvolleyballfeld und eine Badeinsel. Für die Kleinen gibt es einen abgetrennten Wasserspielbereich.

Ein Barfußpfad (bisher ca. 300 m angelegt) befindet sich direkt am See. Bei gutem Wetter findet an Wochenenden und an Feiertagen eine Beaufsichtigung durch die DLRG statt. Baden ist dennoch nur auf eigene Gefahr erlaubt. Hunde sind auf dem Stauseegelände nicht erlaubt. Ebenso sind offenes Feuer und Grillen oder das Campieren und Übernachten untersagt.

Wird als EU-Badewasser überwacht.
