Auf dem Gipfelplateau des Fløyen, nicht weit entfernt von der Bergstation der Fløibahn liegt der idyllische Skomakerdiket-See. Im stillen Wald gelegen und mit einem Picknickplatz am Nordufer ist er der einzige See im Byfjell (Stadtgebirge Bergens), in dem Baden erlaubt ist. Alle anderen Seen dienen der Trinkwasserversorgung der Stadt und sind daher für Badende nicht zugelassen.
