Der Oberalpsee liegt direkt auf der Passhöhe zwischen Sedrun und Andermatt.

Hobby-Fischer lieben es, am frühen morgen die Ersten zu sein um bei aufgehender Sonne und in totaler Ruhe zu fischen. Patente erhält man im Restaurant Piz Calmot auf der Passhöhe. (Kein Angler-Zubehör mietbar)

Doch auch Wanderer geniessen einen Spaziergang ans westliche Ende des Sees, wo das Wasser mit einem kleinen Staudamm für die Stromproduktion gestaut wird. Wer mag, wandert weiter bis nach Nätschen und kehrt mit dem Zug wieder zurück.
