Stage 1: Trail route from the Rhine source at Oberalp Pass to Sedrun
The route starts at Oberalp Pass, directly at the distinctive lighthouse. Over various trails and a short asphalt counter climb, it goes to Tschamut and from there on a forest road up to Milez. Below the Milez Alm a trail begins with short counter climbs, then continues flowing downhill to Sedrun and along the cycle path next to the railway line to Curschettas. From there, uphill towards Segnas to the valley station of the Disentis/Caischavedra cable car. At the top begins the final trail ascent to the Bostg summit, flat at first, but soon more technical, steeper and in places exposed into the dreamlike Val Raveras with views of summits and trail route. At the Bostg summit follow the signs "Senda dil Bostg." This flow trail (with few S2 sections) leads back to Sedrun. Important: When the trail meets the forest road, do not go straight on into the switchback trail but turn right toward Val Dadens. There follows a nice trail with S1/S2 character back to Sedrun.
