Das Naturbad Mittersee liegt westlich vom Ortsteil Bad Faulenbach an der Alatseestraße im Faulenbacher Tal. Von dem Parkplatz am westlichen Ortsende von Bad Faulenbach führt ein Fußweg (ca. 5 Minuten) zum See. Der See verfügt über einen gekennzeichneten Nichtschwimmerbereiche, einen Sprungturm, eine Rutsche, Umkleidekabinen, Kinderspielplatz und eine große Liegewiese mit ausreichend Schatten. Das Naturbad ist witterungsabhängig von Ende Mai / Anfang Juni bis Ende September täglich geöffnet.
